We’re recruiting for a Private Associate Dentist to join a long-established independent dental practice in Cockermouth. This is a fantastic opportunity to take over a well-maintained private list in a fully modernised setting, with no NHS work and strong support from a cohesive clinical team.

About the Role:
Start Date: ASAP
Days Available: Monday – Thursday
Working Hours: 8:45am – 5:30pm
UDA Rate: N/A – fully private
Private Split: 45–50% including lab fees
Patient Base: Approx. 900 plan patients + PAYG + waiting list
Experience Required: Open to all levels of experience

Practice Details:
NHS / Private Split: 100% Private
Number of Surgeries: 5
Digitalised: Fully digital
Software: Software of Excellence (SOE)
Equipment: Intraoral scanner, CT scanner, digital X-rays, intraoral cameras, rotary endo, fibreoptic handpieces, micromotors, air conditioning & filtration
Team: 5 dentists, 2 therapists, extended duties nurses, implantologist, endodontist
Facilities: Modern decontamination room, welcoming reception, staff room and changing area
Parking: On-site and nearby
Transport Links: Less than 40 mins to M6 motorway

Requirements:

  • GDC registered
  • Valid DBS (or willing to obtain)
  • IRMER compliant
  • Indemnity & CPR certificates
  • Two clinical references from the past 2 years
