Dental Elite Supports Dentaid Mobile Dental Unit to Deliver Care to Vulnerable Communities

Dental Elite has partnered with leading dental charity Dentaid to support one of its Mobile Dental Units, helping deliver essential dental care to vulnerable communities across the UK.

The initiative forms part of wider efforts across the dental profession to improve access to care for patients facing significant barriers to treatment.

The Dental Elite logo now features on a vehicle which supports outreach programmes nationwide, helping to deliver care to people experiencing homelessness, harm, poverty and abuse.

Shortly after receiving its new branding, the mobile unit travelled to Winchester and Weymouth, where volunteer dental teams provided essential dental treatment and oral health advice to people experiencing homelessness. The clinics supported numerous patients who would otherwise struggle to access dental care, delivering immediate relief alongside preventative guidance.

Supporting Access to Dental Care Where It’s Needed Most

Dentaid’s outreach work is powered by its fleet of fully equipped mobile dental units. Each unit enables volunteer clinicians to deliver safe, professional dental treatment directly within communities facing significant barriers to care.

By supporting one of these units, Dental Elite is helping extend access to dentistry for some of the most vulnerable people across the UK, including individuals experiencing homelessness, financial hardship, or limited access to NHS services.

The partnership forms part of a wider joint branding initiative, bringing together organisations from across the dental sector to collectively fund and sustain Dentaid’s outreach operations.

A Shared Commitment to the Dental Community

Luke Moore, Co-Founder of Dental Elite, said:

“Dentistry has always been about people first. Supporting Dentaid allows us to play a small part in ensuring dental care reaches those who need it most but are often unable to access it. As a business working across the profession every day, it’s important to us that we give something meaningful back to the wider community.”

Dental Elite’s support will help fund the continued operation of the mobile dental unit over the next 12 months, enabling volunteer teams to provide life-changing treatment and preventative oral health education nationwide.

Making a Lasting Impact

As part of the partnership, Dental Elite will receive ongoing updates demonstrating how its support contributes to Dentaid’s outreach programmes, alongside national brand visibility across the charity’s mobile unit, social media channels and sector press coverage.

Most importantly, the partnership directly supports the delivery of frontline dental care to individuals who may otherwise go without treatment entirely.

Andy Evans, CEO of Dentaid The Dental Charity, said: “We are hugely thankful for Dental Elite for their generous contribution to our work.

“The support of organisations like theirs is crucial in being able to ensure that those most in need of care can access dentistry in a supportive and welcoming environment.

“The contribution of Dental Elite helps us continue reaching vulnerable communities and improving oral health outcomes across the UK.”

Looking Ahead

Dental Elite looks forward to working alongside Dentaid throughout the coming year and supporting the continued delivery of outreach dentistry across communities nationwide.
