Dr Sharon Brindley and her business partner enlisted the help of the Dental Elite team to help put their dental practice on the market. Sharon comments:
Which consultant in Dental Elite did you work with?
We worked with Phil Kolodynski, who was excellent, professional and very reassuring. I was worried about the selling process, but he was always at the other end of the phone. I had a lot of questions and he explained every scenario, making sure I was really clear before starting the process.
What was the biggest challenge in getting your practice sold?
I didn’t find the process of negotiating a price particularly stressful, as Dental Elite did that for us. However, the due diligence was definitely a challenge. Dental Elite helped us through it but due diligence is just a naturally difficult process.
We were also guided on what to expect from the prospective buyers, so again that relieved us of a lot of stress.
What made you choose the offer you accepted?
I knew that the company whose offer we accepted would look after our staff. I’m going to continue to work in the practice and I felt like they’re a company I can work for.
How did you come across Dental Elite?
I came across the team through a recommendation, particularly about Phil. I also enquired about selling my practice about 12 months before we actually made the decision, and it was Phil who advised me. He never continued to push or contact me, he left it until I approached him some time later. I never felt under any pressure which was greatly appreciated.
I have already recommended Dental Elite to others – throughout our process there were no unexpected hiccups. Unfortunately, no-one can simplify the due diligence process, but other than that everything was relatively stress-free.
